What flavor profile can I expect from Sisters Blend?
The blend highlights a lively, bright top note from Ethiopian coffee rounded by the round sweetness and chocolatey undertones of Peruvian beans. Expect mild acidity and a velvety body that creates a balanced cup without harsh bitterness.
- Origin mix: Ethiopia (brightness, floral/fruit notes) + Peru (sweetness, cocoa tones)
- Medium roast emphasizes balanced aromatics and approachable depth
- Mild acidity suitable for black coffee or milk-based drinks
- Velvety mouthfeel enhances perceived smoothness
How should I brew Sisters Blend to get the best results?
This whole-bean medium roast is versatile: grind size and brew time will shape the cup. Use a medium grind for drip machines, a slightly finer grind for pour-over, and a coarse grind for French press to highlight different flavor layers.
- Drip coffee: medium grind, 1:16 ratio for a consistent everyday cup
- Pour-over: medium-fine grind and steady pour to emphasize clarity
- French press: coarse grind and 4-minute steep for richer body
- Use fresh grind from whole beans to maximize aroma and flavor
How is the coffee packaged and how long will it stay fresh?
Sisters Blend arrives as whole beans in an easy-open resealable bag designed to lock in aroma and limit exposure to air. Store in a cool, dark place and reseal after each use; whole beans maintain optimal freshness for several weeks when kept properly.
- 12 oz whole-bean bag with resealable closure for repeat freshness
- Best when used within weeks of opening for peak flavor
- Avoid refrigeration; keep away from light, heat, and moisture
